{"id":11651,"date":"2023-07-13T08:19:11","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T07:19:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ilg-lin.gotest.it\/us-en\/?post_type=my-ilg-post&#038;p=11651"},"modified":"2025-01-24T14:21:29","modified_gmt":"2025-01-24T14:21:29","slug":"possible-ups-strike-action-in-usa","status":"publish","type":"my-ilg-post","link":"https:\/\/ilg-lin.gotest.it\/us-en\/my-ilg\/possible-ups-strike-action-in-usa\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Possible UPS strike action in USA<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As you may be aware from the media coverage, UPS in USA, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union are negotiating a new National Master Agreement (NMA) for approximately 330,000 U.S. employees, as well as supplemental agreements that cover specific local areas of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been reported that talks concluded at 4am in the US on 5<sup>th<\/sup> July without an agreement and no further negotiations are currently scheduled. UPS workers voted overwhelmingly last month to authorise a strike if the two sides failed to reach a deal by 31<sup>st<\/sup> July, when the current contract expires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific information on this potential action can be found via this link &gt;
